„Bored by the mainstream we seek refuge in the dark. Addicted to repetitive sound, we leave the future behind and settle firmly in the now. Never forgetting the past, but moving forward steadily.” – Albert.

Started as an antidote to the boring uniformity of Mannheim’s Party landscape, Raw Materials has quickly become one of the city’s most influential party series. Operational for the last seven years we have not only been able to constantly put on fresh new talent, but we’ve also managed to bring some of the scenes most sought after grandmasters to their long-awaited debuts in our beloved city.

Musically we love fearless sound selection, perfectly executed by professional music enthusiasts. And while techno seems to be a common thread, straying off the beaten path is highly encouraged. Be it Acid, Breakbeat, Ebm, Electro or even the odd deconstructed Hardcore gem — we are always up for adventure.

Raw Materials aims to be a space for people to dance, mingle and forget about their regular lives.

And we want this space to as open and inclusive as possible for everyone to dance and express themselves however they please. But while we can provide a suitable environment, a proper sound system, and a DJ that can take us on a journey – in the end, it is up to every single one of us to make sure we succeed

So please call out inappropriate behavior. Speak up if you witness any threatening or uncomfortable situations. Tell a bartender, staff member or security guard if you see or experience anything that raises your concern. Only with your help can we make everything a little bit better!

So in order to make sure everyone can enjoy themselves as much as possible, there are few but important rules to be followed. You can find them below.

Rules & Regulations

1. Respect everyone! Everybody is welcome, regardless of their looks, gender, sexual orientation or ethnicity. Everything is possible, as long as consent is given and the local law is being followed. If you are unsure about anything, make sure to ask. Overstepping the basic rules of engagement can and will get you kicked out.

2. We do not tolerate any form of sexism, racism, misogyny, trans*-, inter*- or homophobia! If any of this triggers you: Don’t come! Violating this rule will get you kicked out.

3. Help out when help is needed, but be mindful of personal space and boundaries. Common sense applies!

4. Please respect everybody’s privacy and keep your phone out of your hands as much as possible. Taking Photos or recording Videos is prohibited.

5. You might not always like what you see or hear at our parties, it might even offend you. But instead of getting irritated maybe it helps you to remember this: moments don’t last forever and change is bound to happen eventually! So, as long as it is not violating any of the aforementioned rules, let things happen and don‘t tell the DJ how much you hate the selection.
